Want to be PAID to SKATE? Roller Disco Skate Guard Job...
We have a job offer for anyone with the right skills. Training will be given.
One of our Roller Disco's needs another Friday Night skate guard or two, please contact us if you are interested.
Parents - Christmas is coming and you want to get skates -
heres a Christmas present choice tip...
Don't make the classic mistakes of either A] Buying cheap skates, or B] Buying skates too big!
A] Cheap skates - especially those that seem "slower" are exactly the thing you don't want to learn in - you need the FASTEST skates possible to learn in - talk to us and we'll tell you why. It's obvious once you know! And cheap skates won't roll and have no resale value. They'll be uncomfortable and you/your kid won't like it and will stop skating. Then you'll say -"thank goodness I didnt buy expensive ones!" DOH! Get quality equipment - or try before you buy with Sk8school Hire Skates.
B] Skates that are too big won't support properly and will lack control and vital ankle support. This is dangerous! Buy adjustable skates for kids - then you'll cover 3 sizes in one boot! Yes they cost more - but they have a resale value, where cheap skates are just bin liners!
We work closely with both Skate Shops in Eastbourne - RE-AL by
the
cinema and LOCO by the Station. Both will be happy to guide you.
Tomorrow Quiet Skate, Quality Eastbourne Skate lessons and FREE indoor open skate!
Only two more sessions people! Don't miss the opportunity for your last couple of FREE indoor skates and of course another chance to get your Christmas party tickets.
Welcome to all the new people every week that are now following us on Twitter!
A big hello to the surge of new skaters following Sk8school on Twitter.
Don't forget we have several methods of staying in touch with the most active skate community in Sussex. Facebook, WhealsON, the Newsletter , TXT Service and Twitter. With updates from our instructors or Sk8 M8s averaging 1 every 6 hours!
At least once a month we run something special (Rock Climbing, Paris Skate Trip, Roller LaserQuest, Boat Race etc.) and we are the only group to offer FREE Eastbourne skating every week right through the year.

The Last Skate Dancercise and Coaching Session of the year.

In the last session some of the experts will be attempting a fairly advanced link of reverse toe pivot to three turn or pivot turn. Check out the WhealsON blog or Facebook fan page to see what that all means and check the video!
Better than that, turn up for the last session on Tuesday night and try it for yourself.

Learning to Skate Dance in Eastbourne, new course format...
Skate Dancercise is undergoing a period of re-invention at Sk8school with several changes to the format.
Firstly we've added much more skate instruction to bring up the overall level of skating across all attendees.
Second, we've introduced a more "evolved" structure to bring in new moves, rather than several set routines.
Finally - as from this week, we'll be splitting the classes into beginners and experts - to try to better cater for both groups.
The Mastering Series of Skate Lessons begins October 25th 1pm
Booking your place is essential for these classes and Stopping and Backwards only have a handful of places left.
So if you'd like to have a method of stopping for every occasion read more about our Mastering 10 ways to Stop Course.
