Two of some of the most popular skate schools in the UK have joined forces to increase their expertise and services to customers. Tim Wheals (Director or sk8school.com) and Mark Davies (Director of skateinstructor.com) have got together to bring you some amazing skating with organised skates to London & Eastbourne this summer, as well as some fantastic courses and over fifteen years of teaching experience. This will boost Sk8schools instructor base to 5 qualified instructors, with first aid and police checked credentials. Customers will benefit from the combined skill set of both schools and the increased variety of courses available.
The Eastbourne Sk8Streetwize program has already begun (April 30th) with monthly skates scheduled through the summer. An added twist is that these courses will now be offered in both London and Eastbourne, which means customers from either of these location’s can sample guided tours of London’s Parks and Eastbourne’s Seafront, whilst getting top quality skate instruction.
The courses will cover how to manage hills, steps, kerbs, crossing roads etc. The group class will last half a day and cover about 10 miles at a leisurely pace, taking in a few cafés and pubs as rest stops!
The Monthly Sk8Streetwize courses start from the Sk8schools outdoor training “base camp” where they run their weekly group classes (on the seafront adjacent to Prince William parade). The London courses start at Hyde Park corner underground station entrance.
