Our Eastbourne skate lessons don't stop when the weathers bad, we have indoor facilities for the winter and often run Theory lessons to aid people in buying and maintaining their skates.
Volunteer groups can show you a little , so can "Fred who's good on his skates", but nothing beats a proper Sk8School lesson. Our skate lessons, show you more in the first 30 minutes, than the volunteer groups ever knew!
Regular Skate Lessons and classes are run outdoors at the Turning Circle right through the Summer. In the winter we have a variety of open skate lessons, kids club and pre-booked skate courses available at a range of indoor and outdoor skating locations across Sussex and London.
Coaching Sessions, Specialist skills and skate master classes focus on specific needs throughout the month. So we can cater for Adults, Children, Expert skaters and total beginners in a focused and professional manner.
We usually teach skating in and around Eastbourne but can also come to you! We teach quad and inline skating and Rollerblading in Brighton, London, Hastings and Seaford - If you are in Sussex give us a call! Additionally our half day intensive skate courses make it worth the travel!

Our FREE Skate Lesson program works in conjunction with the Skate shops in Eastbourne, Hastings, Brighton and London. Sk8school Private Eastbourne Skate Lessons
We will run private lessons at anytime, anywhere. Costs depend on location and type of instructor required, but as a guide a one to one lesson on the seafront, with a level 1 ICP instructor will cost £20 for an hour. (More advanced skate lessons - anything after parallel turn - require a level 2 instructor and start at £25 per hour). Extra people simply add 50% extra per person (under 6's go free). We can arrange indoor private lessons by booking sports halls which obviously incur an extra charge and require a longer booking lead time.

Sk8school Group Skate Lessons in Eastbourne

Sk8 2 Ski and Ski 2 Sk8 Conversion Course
We understand Skating and Skiing which allows us to rapidly convert skaters into Skiers and Visa Versa! One hours lesson can take you from standing up to Slalom turns. This is excellent cross training for Skiing when the Dry Slope is full or there is no snow!

Half Day Intensive Skating Course - Beginner
A half day intensive skate lesson, geared towards the total beginner and including skate hire if required. These courses run monthly and pre-booking is essential. The class is a group lesson covering 3 hours of skating from how to stand all the way up to sweeping graceful turns. If you can't skate and want to be confident and competent in a morning, this is the one for you! Ideal for the "wanna be" in a hurry! Skills covered include:

Just accomplishing this move gets you expert status with most people. A real building block move that lays the foundations to much advanced skating.

Half Day Skating Course - Flow, Grace and Tricks (TM)(C)
The experts only, freestyle skating course for the difficult to scare! You must be able to skate to a fairly high standard, before you attempt this one! You will be problem solving and testing yourself and your courage with this course!
Learn to Skate Dance! (TM)(C)
Suitable for all ages and abilities! Is it a lesson, a work out or just great fun? Even if you can only just stand up, or can cartwheel backwards this will test you! Learning to Skate dance takes control and improves skating at any level. There are hundreds of moves so there is something for every skill level.

Coaching and Improvers Skate Lessons
A regular addition to the weekly Eastbourne Skate Lesson Scene! For people who can skate, but need expert advice to "crack" one or two problem areas, or learn that new skill. Improver's Coaching for:
- Turning Problems
- Backwards Skating
- Going Faster
- Stopping better
These classes will be hour long PRE BOOKED sessions scheduled before the main weekly Skate Lessons. So don't just turn up at 9:30 on a Sunday morning, expecting to join in! These classes may not be every week, hence the requirement to pre-book.
