This lesson is ideal for you if you are reasonably happy with your stopping, you can skate comfortably faster than a walker and you can turn well enough to avoid collisions.

If you have not familirised yourself with our beginners course we advise you do so first, to fully understand the terms and safety briefing.

This is the place for you if:

• Some other forms of stopping would be useful
• You want to know how to deal with hills and kerbs

Who will be at these Skate Lessons?

People like you! Total beginners who have probably never been on skates before and are not even sure how to put some of the pads on! There are no show offs in this lesson and no one will be looking at you - they'll all have there own skating to worry about! There won't typically be many kids as they tend to go straight into the Skate Camps. The age range is literally 6-86 from all walks of life. The one thing you'll all have in common is that none of you are quite sure how you will get up for the first time! But don't worry - that's fixed early in the skate lesson
